Lessons From God's Word

Here at A Yielded Heart, you'll find practical lessons from the Bible that are meant to encourage you to surrender your ways and your plans to God's ways and plans for your life—FOR YOUR GOOD ALWAYS. These lessons (written as articles) are not based upon popular opinion or tradition, but on God's Word, with scriptural references provided.

Who Are These Lessons For?

These lessons are meant for everyone. God is awesome about using His Word and one's testimony to bless others and it’s my hope that you will be blessed by the lessons you find here. With that said, I write from my personal experiences as a woman who is a wife and mother among many other roles,  but most importantly, a beloved daughter of the King. So, more often than not, these lessons tend to resonate with women who are or have been wives and mothers.

Personal Faith Growth

I write what God’s Word has spoken to me and provided wisdom, direction, and correction on for so many different circumstances and seasons in my own life. A Yielded Heart is a place to share these lessons learned and to encourage you to prayerfully search the Scriptures for yourself and live your life according to God’s Word rather than the ways of the world. I pray that through these writings, you receive encouragement and motivation to stay yielded to God, obeying His Word no matter what is going on in and around you.

Women’s Group Bible Lessons

These lessons make great Bible study lessons for women’s small groups. Each lesson is a short scripturally based article that is based on my real daily walk (full of ups and downs, twists and turns) and fervent study of God’s Word. If you’d like to discuss any lesson or request a custom lesson to be written for your group, feel free to contact me. Also, please review the copyright information before using lessons found on this website.
